Position Overview:
This is a remote opportunity, with a preference for candidates located in Texas, particularly in the Austin area. Algolia is a rapidly expanding organization that empowers users to create a seamless search-as-you-type experience on their digital platforms.

We offer a robust search API utilized by numerous clients across over 100 countries, handling an impressive 1.5 trillion searches annually—surpassing the combined total of Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, Baidu, and Yandex.

Role Responsibilities:
As the Senior Manager of Customer Marketing, you will oversee the Customer Advocacy and Customer Expansion initiatives at Algolia. The ideal candidate will enhance the existing Customer Marketing framework by introducing a clear vision for program development, applying industry best practices, and integrating innovative strategies.

Your role will involve collaborating across various departments, including Sales, Legal, Customer Success, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Field and Partner Marketing, Marketing Operations, and Communications PR. This collaboration is essential to nurture customer relationships throughout their lifecycle, driving expansion opportunities, enhancing customer retention, and increasing the adoption and usage of key products and services.

Key Duties Include:
- Designing and refining Advocacy and Expansion programs through quarterly and annual planning cycles.
- Advising senior leadership on strategic methods to leverage Customer Marketing for achieving business objectives.
- Establishing processes to ensure compliance in the use of customer logos and references, along with managing publicity rights-related materials.
- Acting as the primary liaison between Revenue Marketing and Customer Success, ensuring alignment on priorities and customer engagement.
- Setting and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of Advocacy and Expansion programs, aiming to boost product adoption and retention rates.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Leading testing initiatives to strategize and implement improvements for campaign performance.
- Overseeing customer survey efforts to gather insights and amplify the customer voice within the organization.

Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess:

  • Over 10 years of marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on campaign strategy, customer advocacy, and event management.
  • A customer-centric approach, capable of developing and optimizing programs based on evolving customer needs.
  • Exceptional strategic planning, communication, and leadership abilities, translating business goals into effective marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive campaign enhancements.
  • Proven stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
  • Excellent program and project management skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers and present to senior leadership.
  • Experience in high-growth companies with a significant customer base and a dynamic environment.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is between $144,000 and $171,060, reflecting market pay data for this role.
