Senior Marketing Specialist, Customer Engagement

Are you passionate about travel and eager to connect with customers through impactful communications? Expedia Group is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic CRM expert to join our Traveler Engagement and Loyalty team.

The Senior Marketing Specialist is accountable for executing email, push notifications, in-product placements, and landing pages.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Analytics, Creative, and Production & Capability to craft compelling campaigns that facilitate the journey from browsing to booking and enhance cross-selling and upselling opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement global marketing campaigns for Expedia and VRBO brands
- Communicate the significance of our rewards program, catering to 145 million members across our brands
- Identify campaign opportunities by gaining insights into our travelers through: analytics, testing, self-service data exploration, and performance metrics
- Plan and coordinate campaigns that span multiple teams
- Brief A/B test designs with clear hypotheses and objectives
- Collaborate with a specialized Production team on requirements for building your campaign in our top-tier communications platform
- Ensure campaigns are executed to high standards and meet travelers' experience expectations
- Analyze campaign performance using self-service tools like Tableau

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a CRM role, ideally within the e-commerce or online marketing sectors
- Ability to work collaboratively with creative and marketing partners to develop innovative marketing strategies
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively across teams and partners
- Demonstrated attention to detail in managing complex projects and time-sensitive initiatives
- Proficiency in MS Office.

Experience with Jira, Tableau, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or other communication tools is advantageous.
