We offer a robust search API utilized by numerous clients across over 100 countries, powering an impressive 1.5 trillion searches annually—significantly surpassing competitors.

As the Senior Manager of Customer Marketing, you will oversee the Customer Advocacy and Customer Expansion divisions at Algolia.

The ideal candidate will enhance the existing Customer Marketing framework by introducing a comprehensive vision for program development, adeptly applying industry best practices, and integrating innovative strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will collaborate across various departments, including Sales, Legal, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and more, to ensure that customer relationships are nurtured throughout their lifecycle. Your efforts will focus on driving expansion, enhancing customer retention, and increasing the adoption of key products.

You will manage the Customer Marketing budget, develop strategic roadmaps, and provide insights to senior leadership based on data derived from your initiatives.

Your Role Will Include:
- Designing and refining Advocacy and Expansion programs through quarterly and annual planning.
- Advising leadership on strategic approaches to leverage Customer Marketing for business objectives.
- Ensuring compliance in the use of customer logos and references.
- Acting as the primary liaison with Customer Success to align on priorities and outreach.
- Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of programs aimed at increasing product adoption and improving retention rates.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess:

  • Over 10 years of marketing experience, particularly in campaign strategy, customer advocacy, and event management.
  • A customer-centric approach, with the ability to adapt programs based on evolving customer needs.
  • Exceptional strategic planning, communication, and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive campaign enhancements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in program and project management.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
