Job Description

Job Title: Account Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team at Univision Communications Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, and advertisers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and developing new leads
  • Prepare and present sales pitches and presentations to clients and stakeholders
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Insights, and Business Development, to ensure a unified and coordinated sales strategy
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and provide market insights and feedback to inform sales strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree / Minimum 4-year college degree
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience and success in working for a multimedia sales organization as a direct seller
  • Strong client relationships in the Chicago market and other Midwest markets, such as Texas, Minnesota, Michigan, etc.
  • Proven history of prospecting, generating proposals, meeting and exceeding sales goals, and driving YOY growth
  • Sales experience in digital, social, branded content, data-driven linear audience selling
  • Strong leadership and organization skills, with the ability to execute and multi-task on a regular basis with little direction
  • Adaptable in the face of constant change, with the ability to perform at a high level and identify solutions when faced with challenges
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate ideas into clear, high-impact communications
  • Excellent interpersonal and client relation development skills
  • Strong computer skills, with experience in Internet and Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work onsite in our Chicago, IL office
  • Employment/education will be verified
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be willing to work extended hours, sometimes on short notice, due to project deadlines and to attend after-hours client events
  • Must be willing to travel, as needed, and on weekends, with short notice
