Business Development Role

Nicholson Construction is seeking a skilled Business Development Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Rocky Mountain business development team, you will be responsible for conducting market research, building client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct market research and identify potential clients and upstream project opportunities.

Cultivate strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.

Collaborate with the estimating team to develop and manage RFQ and RFP proposals.

Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Business Management.

3 years of experience in heavy civil construction project proposals writing and management.

Experience with business development, client meetings, screening and evaluating project opportunities, and making presentations about construction projects.
