About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities, as well as developing and executing a comprehensive business development plan aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a business development plan to drive sales growth and revenue expansion
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities, and develop and execute strategies to pursue and capture them
- Establish and maintain key customer relationships, and promote Coda Octopus Colmek's innovative capabilities
- Lead the development of marketing materials, including marketing collateral and trade show materials
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform business development strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales and marketing initiatives
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a strong track record of success in the defense industry
- Strong knowledge of US Navy organization and acquisition process, as well as experience selling to DOD prime contractors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute business development strategies
- Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management
