About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmaceutical Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our team at Life Science People. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our client base within the pharmaceutical contract manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet revenue targets within a specific region, managing the entire sales process from initial prospect engagement to final contract signing.
  • Client Relationship Management: Identify, qualify, manage, and expand client relationships to enhance their understanding of our services and capabilities.
  • Sales Engagement and Planning: Strategically plan sales engagements to optimize client and prospect interactions, delivering prompt and effective customer service across the sales pipeline.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative tasks, including the creation of sales plans, expense reports, and client records in our CRM system.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the business development team and internal experts to fulfill role responsibilities.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Industry Expertise: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotech contract manufacturing sectors, including industry trends and competitive landscapes.
  • Professional Conduct: Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and integrity, adhering to all relevant federal and state regulations and company policies.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong, productive relationships across all organizational levels, engaging in effective communication and collaboration with team leaders and sales personnel.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Work Environment
  • This position is primarily office-based with up to 20% travel required.
