About the Role:

The Glatt Group is seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Pharmaceutical Services Division, you will be responsible for identifying and closing new pharmaceutical solid dosage product development and manufacturing projects and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to identify and close new pharmaceutical solid dosage product development and manufacturing projects and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key pharmaceutical accounts to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pharmaceutical marketing and sales strategies.
  • Engage in industry associations and events to stay up-to-date on market trends and best practices.
  • Identify potential pharmaceutical product candidates for in-house development and submit project activity and revenue reports to track business development and sales activities.
  • Participate in pharmaceutical marketing and sales budget planning and provide routine updates to the EVP, Pharmaceutical Services Division.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with direct experience in solid oral products.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical business development or sales.
  • Experience in selling contract services and/or drug delivery technologies for solid oral products is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of drug development phases, generic drug development, regulatory processes, and industry market conditions and trends related to solid oral products.
  • Superior business, negotiation, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
