Primary Responsibilities

The Vice President of Commercial Strategy will spearhead the development of strategic initiatives and operational frameworks to enhance the productivity and effectiveness of the Sales division. This role encompasses defining the overarching commercial strategy, including product offerings and market entry tactics for Veridix AI, while also leading operational excellence within The Emmes Company. Furthermore, this position will establish and cultivate the customer success team for Veridix AI, ensuring robust sales growth and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Strategy Development - Collaborates with the leadership team to refine product definitions, value propositions, and market strategies. Identifies and formulates business cases for new offerings in technology and AI.
  • Operational Excellence - Designs and implements a standardized consultative sales process organization-wide. Ensures alignment between business value, target objectives, and sales execution. Enhances sales team proficiency through formal training and performance monitoring.
  • Metrics and Analytics - Develops and oversees reporting on essential sales and marketing metrics, along with corresponding dashboards. Maintains data integrity and reporting to track the complete customer lifecycle. Evaluates representative performance and recommends corrective measures.
  • Customer Success Management - Establishes a team and processes to monitor customer health and ensure success with Veridix AI solutions. The customer success organization will focus on enablement, implementation support, and addressing customer health concerns.
  • Partnership Development - Cultivates innovative partnerships with key clients, particularly in the realm of new AI solution development.
  • Attracts, develops, and retains a high-performing team.
  • Provides mentorship, guidance, and constructive feedback related to team development and performance.
  • Acts as a role model for staff in leadership and direction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required.
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare technology, delivery, and commercial strategy.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial technology and AI applications in clinical trials.
  • Experience in the Life Sciences sector, Clinical Research Organization (CRO) industry, and/or Life Sciences Technologies.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and leaders across the organization.
  • A team builder and leader who can establish clear objectives, motivate, train, and engage others enthusiastically.
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders across internal and external organizations to maintain alignment and provide feedback.
  • Operational excellence in managing day-to-day business functions, including forecasting, process development, training, hiring, performance management, collaboration, teamwork, and best practice sharing.
  • Experience in a strategic capacity, balancing successful sales execution with long-term growth planning.
  • A strong leader capable of driving and influencing change.
