We are currently in search of a Vice President of Business Growth to spearhead the initiatives of our business development team.

To excel in this role at Hendall, you should possess persuasive abilities and strong business insight, a proven history of identifying opportunities and securing new contracts, along with outstanding communication, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities.

Success will be gauged through the observable progress as pipeline opportunities advance through the capture process to proposal submission and ultimately result in new contracts for Hendall.


RESPONSIBILITIES
The Vice President of Business Growth is accountable for executing their own business development initiatives from opportunity identification, qualification, and capture to proposal formulation and submission.

Key Responsibilities include:
Establishing robust relationships with clients and industry collaborators.
Acquiring comprehensive knowledge of company services to pinpoint potential clients and service areas.
Preparing all necessary documentation to respond to requests for proposals.
Investigating emerging trends and suggesting new company services to meet client needs.
Delivering regular executive-level reports, which encompass qualifying statuses of both ongoing bids and pipeline opportunities.
Identifying leads for new business prospects and formulating and executing capture strategies to secure identified work.
Monitoring Government acquisition notices to pinpoint those that align with Hendall's capabilities and objectives.
Maintaining connections with various Government leaders and program staff to identify, pursue, and secure new client opportunities.

Conducting research and analysis of opportunities based on resource capabilities, teaming options, incumbent strengths and weaknesses, competing providers, and budget and schedule requirements.

Drafting proposals, white papers, standard operating procedures, and other relevant content.
Performing additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
At least 10 years of demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
Proven knowledge of the FAR and the Government contract life cycle.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Outstanding leadership and management skills.
Effective communication and negotiation capabilities.
Strong business insight.
Detail-oriented and persuasive.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
