Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Vice President of Business Development to lead our federal business development efforts. This is a critical role that requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the federal sector, leveraging relationships with government leaders and industry partners.
  • Capture and Proposal Management: Lead the capture and proposal lifecycle for specific opportunities, ensuring successful execution and delivery of winning proposals.
  • Operational Oversight: Provide operational oversight and direct supervision for contracts that are secured, ensuring successful project performance and issue resolution.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Present frequent executive-level reports, including qualifying statuses of both in-process bids and pipeline opportunities, and analyze opportunities based on resource capabilities, teaming options, and budget and schedule requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 8+ years of relevant business development background in the federal sector, with 5+ years leading the capture lifecycle and 5+ years of project and/or program management background.
  • Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of the FAR, BPAs, IDIQ, contract vehicles, teaming agreements, and the government contract lifecycle, as well as strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
