Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Lending Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial lending strategy to achieve the credit union's growth goals, aligning lending practices with the overall strategic direction of the organization.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the commercial loan portfolio, ensuring the maintenance of a high-quality loan book, monitoring portfolio performance, analyzing risks, and recommending actions to mitigate credit risks.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop the commercial lending team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on achieving goals and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Client Relationships: Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective commercial clients, acting as a trusted advisor, offering financial solutions to meet client needs, and identifying new business opportunities and partnerships within the local and regional markets.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Provide compliance and regulatory oversight to lending practices and procedures, ensuring that all commercial lending activities are conducted in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: Eight to ten years of similar or related experience in commercial lending and business development.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, influence, and/or train others, and foster sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals).

Compensation

$95,009 - $100,500 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
