Our Revenue Strategy & Operations (RSO) team is in search of a proficient Business Partner to work closely with our North America Mid-Market (NA MM) sales division. This position is crucial in enhancing sales discipline, delivering actionable business insights, and advancing sales strategy in collaboration with the NA MM leadership team. You will be involved in various special initiatives, from crafting resource allocation frameworks to overseeing the implementation of new sales enhancement processes and tools.
This role is primarily based in our New York City office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales, Sales Finance, Go-to-Market Strategy, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams on initiatives designed to boost sales productivity, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Create detailed reporting and forecasting analyses on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to monitor sales pipeline progression, meeting and pitch velocity, productivity, and growth in both existing clients and new acquisitions.
- Process Optimization: Develop automation and scalability, refine operational processes, and ensure smooth integration with systems, tools, and technology.
- Rhythm of Business Planning: Oversee the annual and quarterly sales planning processes, including the formulation of channel business plans, operating models, customer segmentation, and resource allocation.
- Go-to-Market Strategies: Formulate and propose strategies for NA MM and its segments and verticals in close partnership with senior sales and cross-functional leaders.
- Investment Planning: Construct a business vision for sales strategy and structural evolution, employing an analytical approach to identify both short-term and long-term resource requirements.
- Market Insights: Conduct strategic market evaluations, including competitive landscape analyses, to assist in developing go-to-market strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in sales operations, business operations, consulting, investment banking, or related fields.
- Experience in the online marketing and advertising sector is preferred.
- Experience in sales acquisition strategy and operations is preferred.
- Data Proficiency: Expertise in researching and analyzing complex and large data sets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven experience working across multiple business units, particularly sales and finance, with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate for successful program execution.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in sales systems and tools (e.g., SFDC), Google suite of business tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Docs, Slides).
- Strategic and Analytical Capability: Strong strategic thinking and business intuition, coupled with excellent analytical skills and a structured problem-solving approach.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Outstanding prioritization and organizational skills.
