ROLE SUMMARY

The Head of Strategic Partnerships plays a pivotal role in steering the growth and outreach of our physician-led specialty practice. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this position is responsible for crafting and implementing strategic initiatives aimed at uncovering new business avenues, establishing partnerships, and enhancing our market footprint in Arizona.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute strategies to broaden the practice's service portfolio, market penetration, and financial performance.
  • Build and nurture robust relationships with partners, healthcare networks, providers, payers, and other essential stakeholders.
  • Initiate projects to boost patient engagement, refine service offerings, and explore new revenue opportunities through innovative services and referral systems.
  • Lead negotiations for new business collaborations, ensuring terms that align with the practice's strategic objectives.
  • Work in tandem with current and prospective physician partners and departments to enhance business development efforts while aligning with clinical goals and the practice's mission.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to assess business models, prepare financial plans, and forecast returns on investment for development initiatives.
  • Track and evaluate the success of business development efforts.
  • Conduct market analysis to pinpoint emerging trends and competitive activities that could lead to new business prospects.
  • Design and implement strategies that elevate the practice's brand, patient interaction, and market standing.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in all business development activities, minimizing risks for the practice.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Marketing, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, ideally within the healthcare sector.
  • A demonstrated history of driving business expansion.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the healthcare landscape, including its trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with a talent for motivating and guiding a team.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
