HEAD OF STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of Strategic Partnerships plays a pivotal leadership role in fostering growth and expansion within our physician-owned specialty practice. This individual will be responsible for crafting and executing strategic initiatives aimed at uncovering new business opportunities, establishing partnerships, and enhancing our market presence throughout Arizona. The Head of Strategic Partnerships will collaborate closely with executive leadership to ensure that business development efforts are in sync with the overall strategic objectives of the practice, utilizing industry insights and market trends to guide decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement strategies for growth to broaden the practice's service offerings, market reach, and profitability.
- Identify, establish, and nurture robust relationships with partners, physician networks, healthcare providers, payers, and other essential stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives aimed at increasing patient volume, optimizing service lines, and discovering additional revenue opportunities through new services and referral networks.
- Oversee negotiations for new business agreements, partnerships, and service contracts, ensuring favorable terms that align with the practice's objectives.
- Work collaboratively with existing and prospective physician partners and other departments to enhance business development efforts, ensuring alignment with clinical goals and the practice's mission and values.
- Partner with the CFO and finance team to analyze business models, prepare budgets, and project ROI for business development initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of business development initiatives.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and competitor activities to uncover new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies that enhance the practice's brand, patient engagement, and market positioning.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in all business development activities, mitigating risks for the practice.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, ideally within the healthcare sector.
- A proven track record of success in driving business growth.
- A strong understanding of the healthcare market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
