Job Summary:

The Technical Support Specialist will provide technical assistance to end-users with their day-to-day technical issues. This role requires a strong understanding of desktop operating systems, software applications, and PC/Server/Network hardware. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of technical work experience and a strong problem-solving skillset.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with software, hardware, and network systems
Collaborate with junior and senior technicians to resolve complex issues
Escalate issues to senior technicians as needed
Perform related work as required

Requirements:

Intermediate understanding of desktop operating systems, software applications, and PC/Server/Network hardware
At least two years of technical work experience or equivalent education
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:

This role operates in a professional office environment. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, sit for long periods, and use hands to type, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications:

Intermediate understanding of principles and theories of network systems and management
Intermediate understanding of Internet technologies and products
Associates (or higher) degree in computer science-related field (preferred)
Two or more years of technical work experience (preferred)
Two or more relevant technical certifications (e.g., A+, Network+, and Security+) (preferred)
