Job Title: Regional Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Systems Engineer to join our team at Fortinet. As a Regional Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales organization in all technical matters related to pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-sales: Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint, ensuring that our solutions meet the customer's needs.
  • Sales calls: Serve as the main technical resource on sales calls, providing expert guidance and answering customer questions on features, specifications, and functionality.
  • Conversant with networking applications and solutions, including LAN, WAN, Internet services administration, and wireless technologies.
  • Post-sales: Lead the technical contact for identified accounts, working closely with the technical support team and engineering to resolve customer technical issues.
  • Provide assistance to identified customers with post-sales training, ensuring they have the necessary skills to get the most out of our solutions.

Required Skills:
  • 5-8 years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
  • 5-7 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
  • 5-7 years of experience with wireless technologies, including deploying, supporting, and conducting site surveys.
  • Strong understanding of wireless authentication technologies, DNS, NFS, SMTP, TCP/IP, and other related protocols.
  • Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, intrusion detection, and anti-virus technologies.
  • Experience with encryption and authentication technologies, as well as strong presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. A graduate degree is preferred.
  • Certifications: CCIE, CISSP.
