Position Overview:

At PIC Group, Inc., we prioritize excellence in the power generation sector. We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair operations of our plant facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the maintenance and repair activities of plant facilities and equipment.
  • Manage the execution of the plant's Maintenance Program, identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Ensure all facilities and equipment are maintained in optimal and safe operating conditions.
  • Supervise maintenance personnel in their repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Implement a preventive and predictive maintenance strategy, maintaining records of equipment failures and trends.
  • Drive continuous improvement through a Reliability Program, analyzing equipment failures to establish root causes and modify procedures accordingly.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance tasks to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Provide comprehensive task lists and schedules for maintenance and contractor teams during both regular operations and outages.
  • Maintain the Maintenance Manual and ensure vendor documentation is current and accessible.
  • Oversee outage management for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
  • Foster a positive work environment for maintenance staff and address employee concerns as they arise.
  • Assist in conducting performance evaluations and assessments for maintenance personnel.
  • Support the recruitment and hiring process for maintenance staff.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Project Director.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow procedures and instructions.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in various outdoor environments, including all weather conditions and noise levels.
  • Frequent use of protective equipment may be necessary.
  • Comfortable working near high voltages and operating heavy machinery.
  • Physical tasks may include lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma is required; a B.S. degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in technical roles is required.
  • Experience in power plant maintenance or operations is preferred.
  • Background in power generation is essential.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and maintenance management software is desirable.
