Plant Maintenance Supervisor

At PIC Group, Inc., we prioritize excellence in the power generation sector. We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair operations of our plant facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the maintenance and repair activities of plant facilities and machinery.
- Manage the execution of the plant's Maintenance Program, identifying areas for enhancement.
- Ensure that all facilities and equipment are maintained in a safe and efficient manner.
- Supervise maintenance personnel in their repair and maintenance tasks.
- Implement a preventive and predictive maintenance strategy, tracking equipment failures and providing insights to management.
- Drive continuous improvement through a Reliability Program that investigates equipment failures and modifies maintenance practices accordingly.
- Plan and schedule maintenance tasks to optimize operational efficiency.
- Prepare task lists and schedules for maintenance and contractor teams during normal operations and outages.
- Maintain the Maintenance Manual and ensure vendor documentation is current.
- Manage both planned and unplanned maintenance outages effectively.
- Foster a positive work environment and address personnel issues as they arise.
- Assist in conducting performance evaluations and assessments for maintenance staff.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of maintenance personnel.
- Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by the Project Director.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Ability to comprehend and follow procedures and instructions.
- Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills are essential.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work in various outdoor environments, including adverse weather conditions.
- Frequent use of protective equipment may be necessary.
- Capable of working near high voltages and operating heavy machinery.
- Physical tasks may include lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
- High school diploma is required; a B.S. degree in Engineering is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in technical roles is required.
- Experience in power plant maintenance or operations is preferred.
- Background in power generation is essential.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and maintenance management systems is desired.
