Job Summary:
Lignetics is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance: Routinely inspect and maintain mechanical and electrical systems on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and respond to faults and safety hazards, and troubleshoot equipment failures to minimize downtime.
- Repair and Installation: Conduct maintenance repairs on all equipment, and install new mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic appliances and equipment.
- Preventive Maintenance: Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Proven work experience as an Industrial Maintenance Electrician preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, mechanical or electrical qualification certificate, welding and fabrication skill set, and familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code.
- Physical Demands: Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and walk for extended periods on uneven surfaces.
