We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at SolutionHealth. As a key member of our Facilities Management department, you will play a critical role in maintaining and operating all mechanical equipment, systems, and spaces throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine checks of unmanned machinery spaces to ensure the operation of designated machinery.
  • Act promptly to maintain or restore system/equipment to satisfactory operating condition.
  • Operate boilers, chillers, blowers, pumps, compressors, generators, cooling towers, and other machinery to maintain plant operations.
  • Monitor system operations to ensure they align with established operating procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspection tasks.
  • Respond to various system alarms, including refrigeration, oxygen/piped gas, heating/cooling, boilers, and generators.
  • Initiate First Response actions during emergency/contingency situations in accordance with established department policies and procedures.
  • Maintain boiler room and machine room logs, including steam, fuel, and water consumption data, feed water and flue gas test results, medical gas system parameters, tank levels, fuel and medical gas deliveries, and HVAC system parameters.
  • Monitor the activities of after-hour maintenance personnel, contractors, or vendor personnel.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary school or vocational training preferred.
  • A minimum of two-four (2-4) years of experience in plant operations and/or building maintenance required; prior experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required and must be maintained throughout the duration of appointment in position.
