Employee Relations Investigations Manager

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated Employee Relations Investigations Manager to join our Human Resources team. This role will oversee employee relations matters across the organization, including triaging cases, assessing concerns, and determining next steps.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of Employee Relations Professionals/Investigators
- Provide oversight for employee relations matters, including case management and investigation reports
- Conduct fact-finding investigations regarding company policy violations, misconduct, discrimination, and harassment
- Advise management on discipline protocols and provide leadership in employee relations matters
- Coach line management on HR and Corporate policies, Employee Concerns Program, and FMP discipline protocols
- Engage stakeholders, including HR, Labor Relations, Legal, Security, Medical, and Compliance and Business Ethics
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in conducting or overseeing investigations
- Experience in formal investigation report writing
- Strong conflict management skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to lead and empower employees
- Ability to manage high stress situations and multitask in a dynamic environment
- Experience in administering company policies and in-depth knowledge of HR policies
- Previous management experience and demonstrated ability to lead and develop employees
- Excellent judgment in complex employee relations matters
