Job Overview

SUMMARY:

The Cybersecurity Program Manager is tasked with the creation and execution of a robust information security strategy aimed at protecting data integrity and confidentiality while adhering to all relevant security regulations and standards. This role requires close collaboration with the Planning & Systems Department to ensure that information security protocols are enforced and compliance is consistently achieved throughout the organization.

  • Assess and formulate information security policies in response to operational and regulatory developments.
  • Identify potential technology and information security vulnerabilities linked to emerging technologies.
  • Engage in discussions regarding technology-related risks.
  • Review and validate reports submitted by the information security coordinator.
  • Investigate security incidents and document any critical occurrences.
  • Evaluate and test information systems and their controls.
  • Monitor system logs to detect possible security threats.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant business discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Master's degree in a relevant business discipline.

WORK SCHEDULE/EXPECTED HOURS:

This is a full-time role with standard office hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Some evening and weekend work may be necessary.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

2-4 trips annually for training purposes.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:

Proficiency in workplace languages is essential; bilingual skills are a plus. Ability to understand business information and communicate effectively with various stakeholders is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This role is primarily sedentary, utilizing standard office equipment.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary, both in person and via telephone.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment is typical of an office or retail setting.
