Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and uphold protocols to safeguard personnel, assets, and facilities.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and compile incident documentation.
  • Assist in the management of various projects.
  • Deliver training to staff and develop awareness programs.
  • Engage with law enforcement and emergency services.
  • React promptly to emergencies and incidents.
  • Organize and participate in emergency drills.
  • Oversee service providers related to security and life-safety systems.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a relevant field or a High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years of experience in security or emergency response.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in security, emergency response, or a related field.
  • Proficient understanding of physical security measures (visitor management, access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection) and life-safety systems (fire protection and suppression).
  • Familiarity with applicable regulations, laws, and standards related to physical security and emergency response.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including after-hours and weekends, to address security-related incidents.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Export Control, C-TPAT, FTZ, and DHS regulations.
  • Technical expertise in security and life-safety systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exhibit integrity, respect, and inclusiveness.
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Possession of a New York State Security Officer License.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $72,000 - $95,000, with potential performance bonuses and equity incentives. GE Vernova offers a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare coverage, retirement savings plans, and various other employee benefits designed to support personal and family needs.

Additional Information
