Position Overview

As a Retail Sales Representative, you will deliver an exceptional shopping experience by providing outstanding customer service. Your role will involve utilizing effective sales strategies and showcasing extensive product knowledge in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver genuine, friendly, and enthusiastic customer service by embodying top-tier service standards.
  • Meet established sales targets and participate in promotional contests.
  • Assist customers with various services such as gift wrapping, gift registries, locating products, catalog orders, special requests, and more.
  • Employ effective sales techniques to enhance sales and productivity.
  • Exhibit thorough product knowledge, including features and advantages.
  • Accurately process transactions at the register, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
  • Support the implementation and upkeep of visual merchandising, signage, and lighting.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including the stockroom.
  • Restock merchandise and manage inventory as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You are passionate about sales and can demonstrate a history of exceeding sales targets.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

1-2 years of experience in customer service and retail sales is ideal, with specialty retail experience being a plus.

You possess strong multitasking abilities and can prioritize effectively.

You are capable of remaining mobile on the sales floor for extended periods and can lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds using appropriate safety measures.

Physical Requirements

Ability to remain active on the sales floor for prolonged periods.

Capability to operate the POS system.

Ability to lift and transport medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while adhering to safety protocols.

Benefits Offered

This position provides a competitive compensation package, including pay and benefits. Compensation is determined by various factors such as education, experience, and location. The expected pay range for this role is $17.50-$18.50 per hour.
