Position Overview:
As an Automotive Service Consultant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming service customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assessing vehicle needs by reviewing service history and conducting inspections.
- Promoting relevant services, parts, and accessories based on thorough product knowledge.
- Providing accurate estimates for service costs and completion times, while obtaining necessary customer approvals.
- Monitoring service progress and communicating updates to customers regarding any changes.
- Administering warranty and customer pay repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
- Conducting final inspections of vehicles before delivery to ensure quality service.
- Adhering to state and federal regulations regarding automobile repair and consumer protection.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Service Advisor (experience with Honda/Acura is advantageous).
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Authorization to work in the USA.
- The ability to perform job duties safely and effectively.
- Capability to pass pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug tests.
