About the Role

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team in Dallas or Houston, TX.

As a key member of our Construction business group, you will play a critical role in empowering results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Leadership: Lead day-to-day account management and oversee the execution of service activities.
  • Relationship Building: Build, expand, and solidify relationships with existing clients at executive levels, leading resources to address client needs.
  • Risk Analysis: Analyze risk financing programs, perform coverage comparisons, and secure existing business while driving the sale of additional services.
  • Business Development: Identify and generate new business opportunities, collaborate with producers, and prepare fee-based pricing.
  • Client Advocacy: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Aon's resources and capabilities, leveraging the Aon network to achieve client risk objectives.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay current on industry data, introduce innovative ideas, and solve complex risk management problems.
  • Professional Development: Prepare for DAU red sheeting sessions, earn badges, and participate in client network cohorts.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7-10+ years of insurance experience, with in-depth knowledge of the insurance brokerage business.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation skills, technical competency, and ability to create innovative solutions.
