As an OTP Operations Support Specialist (Clinical), your role will involve supervising all telehealth counselors within the state of California and assisting clinics with operational needs. This position requires a commitment to high performance by offering clinical guidance, direction, training, assessment, and feedback to all telehealth team members to meet the needs of the populations we serve. A solid understanding of the various departments within the clinics and their functions is essential. You will work independently with minimal supervision and must be well-versed in the agency's policies and procedures, including adherence to disciplinary and grievance protocols.

Compensation:

  • Annual Salary Range: $70,000 to $95,000

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field; minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field or quality assurance specialty.
  • Certification or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience as an OTP Director or Assistant Regional Director is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing and be insurable by the designated carrier, as driving for company purposes is required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for site visits, meetings, and conferences, with potential for extensive travel on short notice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the effective monitoring and daily operations of all telehealth counselors, adapting to the needs of the populations served, including managing schedules.
  • Oversee quality assurance of clinical activities and documentation performed by telehealth counselors.
  • Facilitate clinical meetings and training sessions to address behavioral and clinical concerns, progress, and crisis interventions.
  • Conduct timely performance evaluations for telehealth counselors and monitor compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Train and orient new clinic management staff for newly opened, recently acquired, and established programs.
  • Provide support and guidance for county, state, DEA, CARF surveys, and other external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations through inspections and reviews.
  • Develop and deliver training to ensure compliance with state, federal, and CARF accreditation standards.
  • Communicate findings through reports that identify strengths, weaknesses, and recommendations for operational improvements.
  • Address areas of concern through on-site training and follow-up audits in collaboration with regional leadership.
  • Participate in workgroups and committees as assigned and attend regional and director meetings.
  • Adhere to Pinnacle Treatment Center policies and federal confidentiality laws.
  • Travel to facilities as directed by regional leadership.
  • Provide training on Electronic Health Records (EHR) to Executive Directors and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in the recruitment process for new Executive Directors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
