Parts Authority collaborates with over 400 suppliers globally, offering the finest brands for both domestic and import vehicles, including AC Delco, Motorcraft, Denso, Bosch, KYB, Monroe, Gates, Dorman, and Exide.

Every team member plays a crucial role in the company's success. Parts Authority is currently seeking a professional and self-driven individual to assume the role of IT Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Support Specialist will be a vital member of a multi-regional IT Services team, gaining exposure to a variety of technological platforms.

  • Deliver Tier 1 user support (both onsite and remotely) for technology-related inquiries.
  • Assist in the servicing, upgrading, and deployment of computer systems, software, and peripherals.
  • Travel to various regional locations for onsite IT services (up to 50% travel required).
  • Manage and deploy regional IT assets effectively.
  • Prioritize, coordinate, and escalate unresolved issues to higher support tiers.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to computer software and hardware.
  • Follow up with end users, providing feedback and guiding issues to resolution.
  • Troubleshoot issues through various channels (in-person, phone, chat, or remote connection) promptly and accurately.
  • Utilize Help Desk ticketing systems for incident management and customer interaction.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask and thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Employ analytical skills for problem-solving and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Certifications such as A+, Network+, Microsoft MCSP, and ITIL Foundations are advantageous.
  • A college degree or a minimum of 1 year of professional experience in IT is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Windows, Active Directory, and G Suite is necessary.
  • Familiarity with deployment tools like Norton Ghost and Lansweeper is expected.
  • Intermediate understanding of networks, PCs, and hardware configurations is essential.
  • Experience with RF mobile devices (inventory scanning, order processing) is beneficial.
