Clinical Support Specialist

The Colorado Center For Reproductive Medicine is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to provide vital support within our clinical environment. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play an essential role in enhancing patient experiences and facilitating effective healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for managing patient interactions and supporting clinical operations. This includes:
- Preparing patients for examinations by recording vital signs and updating health information.
- Documenting patient assessments and encounters in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Communicating significant changes in patient conditions to healthcare providers.
- Assisting with minor medical procedures and preparing necessary equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Educating patients about procedures and answering their questions.
- Coordinating with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care.
- Ordering and scheduling lab tests as needed.
- Managing inventory of medical supplies and ensuring proper sterilization of instruments.
- Adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Medical Assistant Certification is necessary.
- BCLS certification required.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
- At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
Working Environment:
This position operates in a professional clinical setting, utilizing standard office equipment and interacting with patients and staff to uphold the highest standards of care.
