Job Overview

As a Branch Operations Leader, you will be responsible for the effective management and oversight of daily branch activities. Your role will involve ensuring that all staff members fulfill their responsibilities efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Supervise daily branch operations, including staffing and task assignments. Ensure all personnel complete their duties promptly.
  • Sales Oversight: Maintain sales records, manage inventory levels, and conduct cash reconciliations. Foster strong relationships with customers through regular communication.
  • Employee Development: Coach and mentor team members, driving continuous improvement and skill enhancement.
  • Financial Administration: Process purchase orders, manage receivables, and oversee branch payables. Stay updated on warranty processes and resolve any issues efficiently.
  • Profit Center Management: Collaborate with the Credit Department to manage credit levels and address any credit-related concerns.
  • Inventory Control: Conduct cycle counts and minimize dead stock while ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet customer demands.
  • Safety and Compliance: Lead safety meetings, maintain security protocols, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Team Morale: Build and sustain a positive work environment by demonstrating leadership and promoting teamwork among staff.
  • Training and Development: Ensure all employees complete necessary training programs and follow established procedures.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations for direct reports and provide necessary feedback.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Be available for branch emergencies outside of regular working hours.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Knowledge & Skills
  • Proficient in warehouse and inventory management.
  • Understanding of profit and loss statements.
  • Familiarity with HVAC products is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on satisfaction.
  • Effective leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a compliance focus.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading teams towards shared objectives.
  • Strong decision-making skills with integrity.
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in branch management.
  • Experience in the HVAC wholesale industry is highly desirable.
Education
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • College degree is strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Compensation
  • Salary range: $56,000 - $81,140.00
