Position Overview

Responsible for supporting and executing a variety of Human Resources functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits management, payroll processing, workers' compensation, training initiatives, safety programs, and adherence to employment and safety regulations at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Staffing
  • Collaborates with management to develop and implement strategic plans for recruiting and filling open positions, ensuring progress aligns with organizational goals.
  • Assists departments in identifying future talent requirements and continuously enhancing the quality of candidates entering the organization.
Employee Relations and Communication
  • Promotes employee engagement by ensuring that staff feedback is acknowledged, concerns are addressed, and improvement actions are implemented.
  • Facilitates effective communication through various channels, ensuring consistent messaging between management and employees.
  • Partners with HR leadership to provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, balancing the needs of both employees and the organization.
  • Conducts investigations and resolves issues as they arise.
  • Handles grievances and employee relations matters, participating in collective bargaining discussions as necessary.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Works with HR leadership and the Total Rewards team to implement and communicate compensation and benefits strategies that attract and retain talent.
  • Contributes to the development of innovative reward systems tailored to the specific needs of the workforce.
Training and Development
  • Champions Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, ensuring a diverse talent pool.
  • Consults with management on training and development needs, delivering training sessions as required.
Organizational Development
  • Collaborates with HR leadership on organizational change initiatives, working with management to enhance business performance.
  • Promotes organizational health, inclusion, diversity, and cultural initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with 1-3 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Experience in fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Strong business acumen with a curious mindset and sound judgment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, utilizing data-driven decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of building authentic relationships to influence stakeholders.
  • Proficient in coaching, consulting, and facilitating discussions.
  • Ability to lead and manage change initiatives effectively.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative approach to building partnerships across various levels of the organization.
  • Preferred experience in HR roles within a regulated and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
