About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team at the U.S. Army. As a Human Resources Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the overall welfare and well-being of our Soldiers, while also assisting leaders in keeping them combat-ready and effective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide human resource support to Soldiers, including strength management and strength distribution actions
  • Oversee the readiness, health, and welfare of all Soldiers
  • Support postal and personnel accountability
  • Maintain emergency notification data
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
  • Must meet Army height and weight standards
  • Must have a GED or High School Diploma
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
Training and Development
  • Job training for Human Resources Specialist begins with 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and nine weeks of Advanced Individual Training
  • Additional training opportunities will be available based on the type of unit you are assigned to
Desirable Skills
  • Aptitude for English and business administration
  • Able to follow detailed orders
  • Sound people skills
