About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our team at CART, a leading commerce enablement company. As a key driver of our growth, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities in the software sales space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including lead generation, product demos, and contract negotiation.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor on software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure client success.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, manage the sales pipeline, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to position our products effectively.
  • Present software solutions in a compelling way, addressing client needs and demonstrating the value of our offerings.
  • Negotiate and close complex deals with senior-level decision-makers.
  • Provide regular feedback to product and marketing teams based on customer needs and market insights.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in software sales, specifically in Order Management and/or Warehouse Management software, with a focus on selling enterprise solutions in an early-stage business.
  • Experience working in the e-commerce, logistics, or supply chain industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven history of meeting and exceeding sales targets in an early-stage high-growth business environment.
  • Experience managing large, complex accounts and closing high-value deals.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot to manage sales pipelines and track performance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SaaS or subscription-based software sales.
  • Experience in a pre-IPO or fast-growth tech company.
  • MBA degree.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
