Are you a seasoned sales professional looking to take your career to the next level? Do you have a passion for building strong relationships with commercial clients and driving sales growth? We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our National Field Sales team at Johnson Controls.

About the Role

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and expanding existing and new national accounts within a defined territory. You will provide input on relevant market information, sales and marketing strategies, vision, and goals to drive new sales opportunities and position the company for success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and expand existing and new national accounts within a defined territory
  • Provide input on relevant market information, sales and marketing strategies, vision, and goals
  • Drive new sales opportunities and position the company for success
  • Personally contact and secure new business accounts, typically with multiple site locations within the designated region
  • Lead all aspects of assigned accounts within their portfolio, including opportunity identification, pre-sales planning, deal execution, post-sales installation planning, and follow-up
Requirements
  • Minimum of four (4) years of Commercial Electronic Security experience in any of the following: Security Sales or Account Management, Security Project or Program Management
  • Ambitious attitude, leadership ability, and ability to be a great teammate at all levels
  • Proven ability to relate to and manage commercial clients
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to comprehend and make valid contributions to developing a business plan, including sales and marketing strategies
