Responsibilities- Develop and implement financial strategies and systems that align with the company's overall goals.
- Supervise and manage the finance team to ensure all financial tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Oversee all audit and internal control processes.
- Perform regular financial analysis, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to the board of directors and other company executives.
- Manage the company's cash flow and forecasting, directing all financial, project-based, and departmental accounting.
- Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives.
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
- Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation, ensuring the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
- Oversee complex accounting functions, including inventory and cost accounting.
- Manage and oversee the entire budgeting process, including the development, planning, and execution of the company's budget.
- Handle grant accounting, ensuring all grants are managed according to company and grantor requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
- Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP).
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Thorough knowledge of risk management.
- Experience with grant accounting and budgeting processes.
- Proven experience overseeing audits and managing complex accounting functions.
