Position Summary

As a Project Manager within our Construction division, you will oversee the operational management of assigned projects, ensuring they are executed safely, punctually, and in accordance with industry and company standards. Serving as the primary liaison among the crew, supervisors, subcontractors, clients, and suppliers, the Construction Project Manager promotes effective communication and coordination to achieve project objectives. This role involves managing field personnel and subcontractors, coordinating material procurement, and maintaining an inventory of labor, tools, and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of combined experience as a laborer, tradesperson, lead, and/or foreman.
  • Experience in construction management overseeing commercial and/or residential projects from inception to completion.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing schedules, including familiarity with Gantt charts.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and industry standards.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, cutsheets, and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and OSHA safety standards.
  • Experience in reading and developing financial reports.
  • Strong leadership abilities to inspire field teams and subcontractors.
  • Capability to foresee potential issues and devise effective solutions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and adaptability to evolving project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety and risk management related to the construction industry and each individual project.
  • Ensure all project aspects are communicated effectively at all levels in a timely manner.
  • Plan, coordinate, engage in, and allocate tasks according to agreed-upon project objectives.
  • Coordinate project inspections, follow through, and act on findings.
  • Supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and machinery/equipment utilized.
  • Manage inventory control and ordering processes.
  • Oversee expenditures and ensure budgetary goals are met or exceeded.
  • Lead by example in a positive, ethical, and professional manner.
