Job Summary

The Sales Administrator will provide critical support to the Application Engineering Team and the Sales Team, focusing on operational efficiencies and process synergies to ensure consistency within company processes and brands represented by AEC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed individual objectives as set by the Sales Team Leader
  • Participate in the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and attend Department level L10 Meetings
  • Collaborate with the Team Leader to create quarterly Rocks with Milestones
  • Meet or exceed individual metrics as set by the Sales Team Leader
  • Perform SalesForce administrative duties, including opportunity creation, order creation, data field cleanup, and managing AEC and JCI Salesforce for all opportunities and orders
  • Populate fields in SF needed to manage Pipeline and work with the Sales and Operations Team to complete SF fields needed to manage Backlog
  • Manage SharePoint File Management of Opportunities and Orders, generate quotes for equipment, parts, and service sales, and enter orders for specified manufacturers
  • Project manage designated Industrial Equipment orders, document warranties, and prepare required IOMs for customers
  • Assist the Office Admin team and parts team as needed
Requirements
  • Associates Degree or minimum 3 years experience as an Application Engineer or Inside Salesperson preferred
  • Sales Administrative/Data Entry experience required
  • Education and experience with the construction and engineering industry preferred
Skills and Abilities
  • Effective interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills
  • Ability to switch quickly between tasks based on priority and timeline
  • Works well within a team dynamic to ensure timely execution of tasks
  • High computer proficiency (comfort with word, excel, and using an internet browser)
  • Experience with SalesForce, Microsoft Dynamics, or other CRM systems
  • Critical thinking ability and willingness to learn
