Position: Director of Employee Benefits

This pivotal leadership position is centered around overseeing the key accounts team, which comprises over 20 skilled professionals. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in guiding and nurturing the team, thereby enhancing the growth and success of our Employee Benefits division.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise the key accounts team, managing a group of more than 20 professionals.
  • Provide strategic oversight and direction to ensure the prosperity of the Employee Benefits division.
  • Collaborate with essential stakeholders to devise and execute effective employee benefits strategies.
  • Serve as a thought leader in the benefits domain, remaining informed about industry trends and advancements.
  • Cultivate a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting engagement and professional growth.
  • Engage with clients to comprehend their requirements and deliver customized solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and organizational policies.
  • Drive business expansion and profitability for the Employee Benefits division.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in the benefits sector, ideally in a managerial capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of employee benefits, encompassing health, retirement, and wellness programs.
  • Exceptional people management abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate a large team.
  • Strategic mindset with the capability to foster innovation and transformation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a national firm is a considerable advantage.
  • Must reside in the greater Chicago area.
Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.

Work Environment:

This is a hybrid role based in Deerfield, IL, offering the flexibility of remote work. Regular travel may be necessary.
