This role is suited for individuals with a solid foundation in benefits and 401(k) management across multiple locations. The Employee Benefits Specialist will be instrumental in overseeing and sustaining employee benefit schemes, managing enrollment workflows, and ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee a diverse range of employee benefit offerings, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), and more
- Facilitate benefit enrollments, terminations, and modifications within the HRIS system and vendor platforms
- Disseminate benefit information and notifications to staff
- Evaluate and monitor benefit plans to guarantee precision and quality
- Foster strong partnerships with benefit providers
- Address benefit inquiries, grievances, and conflict resolution
- Ensure organizational compliance with ERISA, IRS, DOL, and other pertinent regulations
- Coordinate corporate wellness programs and FMLA leave management
- 3 - 5 years of experience in benefits and 401(k) management
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Ceridian Dayforce HRIS benefits is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy Rule and other relevant regulations
- Bachelor's degree or benefits certification is advantageous
- Some travel may be necessary
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
- Capacity to exercise independent judgment and initiative
- Meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to change
