Job Overview

Position: Director of Employee Benefits

Location: Remote with Hybrid Options

This role is essential for a prominent national firm within the insurance sector, which is in search of a highly qualified and seasoned expert to take on the responsibilities of Director of Employee Benefits.

This leadership position is centered around the management of a key accounts team, comprising over 20 skilled professionals. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in guiding and nurturing the team, significantly contributing to the advancement and success of the Employee Benefits division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and lead the key accounts team, managing a group of more than 20 professionals.
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to ensure the effectiveness of the Employee Benefits division.
  • Collaborate with essential stakeholders to formulate and execute impactful employee benefits strategies.
  • Serve as a thought leader in the benefits sector, remaining informed about industry trends and innovations.
  • Encourage a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting engagement and professional growth.
  • Engage with clients to comprehend their requirements and deliver customized solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and organizational policies.
  • Drive growth and profitability within the Employee Benefits division.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in the benefits sector, ideally in a managerial capacity.
  • Comprehensive understanding of employee benefits, including health, retirement, and wellness programs.
  • Exceptional people management skills with the capability to inspire and motivate a large team.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to foster innovation and transformation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in a national firm is a considerable advantage.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications are beneficial.

Working Conditions:

This is a hybrid role with flexibility for remote work. Regular travel may be necessary.
