The ideal candidate for this position will possess an engineering background with a PE license or be a geologist with a PG license.

A PE/PG is essential for this role, along with a robust background in remediation design and remedial systems.

Job Overview


We are seeking a passionate and committed Environmental Project Manager (Engineer or Geologist) to become a part of our dynamic team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and oversee various environmental projects within our organization.

The successful candidate will be tasked with providing technical leadership in the design and execution of remediation strategies, ensuring adherence to environmental regulations, and conducting remedial investigations.

Key Responsibilities

As an Environmental Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and executing remediation strategies for soil, water vapors, and groundwater.
  • Leading and managing environmental projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensuring all projects comply with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Conducting CERCLA Remedial Investigations and Feasibility Studies.
  • Providing technical leadership and direction to project teams.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Identifying and managing project risks and challenges.
  • Staying updated on the latest environmental regulations and industry trends.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is highly regarded.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental project management, particularly in remediation design and/or implementation.
  • Experience in environmental compliance, geology, and/or environmental engineering.
  • A valid Texas Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license.
  • Proficiency in CERCLA Remedial Investigations and Feasibility Studies.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • A strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
