Position Overview

The Marketing Specialist at CECO Environmental plays a crucial role in collaborating with the Global Marketing Team to enhance messaging and positioning for our diverse Platform product lines. This position is ideal for individuals who are innovative, enjoy developing strategies from the ground up, and possess the flexibility and enthusiasm to engage in a variety of marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

The following duties are essential to the role. The successful candidate must effectively execute each responsibility. Additional tasks and projects may be assigned as deemed necessary by management.

  • Event Coordination: Work alongside the global marketing team to oversee the planning and execution of marketing programs at industry events, managing all logistics, planning, and post-event evaluations.
  • Research and explore alternative event opportunities, including presentations, corporate events, sponsorships, and publications.
  • Identify potential thought leadership avenues for interviews, speaking opportunities, presentations, and articles.
  • Social Media Management: Design and implement social media campaigns across various business segments, utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Generate and distribute engaging daily content, including text, images, and videos that effectively promote the company's brand.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure content is both informative and appealing.
  • Create editorial calendars and distribution schedules.
  • Ensure alignment of current social media strategies with company objectives and values.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of social media campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Stay informed about current social media trends and assess how the company can optimally engage.
  • Moderate user-generated content for appropriateness.
  • Assist with basic research and content creation.
  • Support updates to the myCECO intranet.
  • Contribute to training programs, including webinars.
  • Assist with graphic design and other digital requirements.
  • Provide support to the marketing team as needed on various projects and priority requests.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of marketing experience, particularly in social media and event coordination.
  • B2B experience in the manufacturing, industrial, or environmental sectors is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with digital tools, including marketing automation and social media platforms; basic graphic design skills are preferred.
  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to conceptualize and create compelling visuals.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and decision-making abilities.
