Job Summary:

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Environmental Permitting Project Manager to join our Energy Transition team in the Texas/Gulf Coast region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing our expanding business across various sectors, including linear utilities, oil and gas, rail, and renewable energies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams of biologists, cultural resource specialists, planners, engineers, and other technical specialists to successfully execute environmental permitting projects.
  • Develop permitting strategies and coordinate with clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Provide senior-level quality assurance/quality control for client deliverables, including agency consultations and permit applications.
  • Support and/or manage the growth of new and existing client relationships in conjunction with business development leaders and account leaders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, or a similar environmental discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience managing environmental permitting projects in Texas and the Gulf Region in the environmental consulting industry.
  • Experience leading teams and working in collaboration with biologists, cultural resource specialists, planners, and other specialists in developing high-quality documents for environmental projects.
  • Proven project manager with experience estimating and managing costs and delivery of environmental planning projects.
  • Experience working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and state agencies in the preparation of environmental documents and reports.

Arcadis offers a flexible working environment and follows a hybrid work structure. A successful candidate can expect to work remotely and from the office, as needed, based on project and client team demands. Periodic travel will be required (10-15%).
