Principal Environmental Permitting Project Manager

Job Summary:
Arcadis is seeking an experienced Principal Environmental Permitting Project Manager to join our Energy Transition team to support and grow our expanding business in the Texas/Gulf Coast region across a range of sectors, including linear utilities, oil and gas, rail, and renewable energies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead teams of biologists, cultural resource specialists, planners, engineers, and other technical specialists to successfully execute environmental permitting projects for oil and gas, linear utilities, renewable energy, and rail clients.
- Develop permitting strategies and coordinate with clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Provide senior-level quality assurance/quality control for client deliverables, including agency consultations and permit applications.
- Support and/or manage the growth of new and existing client relationships in conjunction with business development leaders and account leaders.
- Leverage existing client relationships, support client account teams, and lead pursuits and proposal opportunities, including scope and cost development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, or similar environmental discipline.
- 10+ years of experience managing environmental permitting projects in Texas and the Gulf Region in the environmental consulting industry.
- Experience leading teams and working in collaboration with biologists, cultural resource specialists, planners, and other specialists in developing high-quality documents for environmental projects.
- Proven project manager with experience estimating and managing costs and delivery of environmental planning projects.
- Experience working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and state agencies in the preparation of environmental documents and reports.
