Job Overview

The Marketing Specialist at CECO Environmental plays a pivotal role in supporting the Global Marketing Team under the guidance of the Global Marketing Director. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Event Coordination: Collaborate with the global marketing team to oversee the planning and execution of marketing initiatives at industry events, managing logistics, planning, and post-event evaluations.
  • Research and explore alternative event opportunities such as presentations, corporate gatherings, sponsorships, and publications.
  • Identify potential thought leadership avenues for interviews, speaking opportunities, presentations, and articles.
  • Social Media Management: Design and implement social media strategies across various platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Generate and disseminate engaging daily content, including text, images, and videos that enhance the company's brand visibility.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure that content is both informative and appealing.
  • Content Planning: Develop editorial calendars and syndication schedules to streamline content distribution.
  • Ensure that the current social media strategy aligns with the overall company objectives and values.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of social media campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Stay updated on current social media trends and assess how the company can effectively engage.
  • Moderate user-generated content to ensure appropriateness.
  • Assist with foundational research and content creation.
  • Support myCECO intranet updates and enhancements.
  • Contribute to training initiatives, including webinars and certification programs.
  • Provide assistance with graphic design and other digital marketing needs.
  • Support the marketing team with various projects and priority tasks as required.
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of marketing experience, particularly in social media and event coordination.
  • Experience in B2B marketing within the manufacturing, industrial, or environmental sectors is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, including marketing automation and social media platforms; basic graphic design skills are a plus.
  • Exceptional writing abilities, along with the capacity to conceptualize and create compelling visual content.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and decision-making capabilities.
