Position Overview:
A prominent manufacturing organization is in search of a dedicated Fixed Asset Accountant to join their team in a fully onsite capacity. This direct hire role is pivotal in overseeing daily accounting functions and ensuring compliance with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
The Fixed Asset Accountant will be tasked with a variety of essential duties, including but not limited to:
  • Management of fixed asset records and journal entries
  • Conducting thorough balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monthly reconciliation and posting of depreciation
  • Accounting for assets held for sale
  • Overseeing prepaid license accounting
  • Assisting in the preparation of documentation for insurance renewals
  • Tracking cash receipts from the sale of used equipment
  • Collaborating with the Fixed Asset Controller on upcoming acquisitions and cash flow management to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
  • Supporting borrowing base audits and appraisals

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Fixed Asset Accounting
  • A degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Proficiency in JD Edwards software
  • Experience with depreciation accounting
  • Strong skills in Excel, including VLookups and Pivot Tables
