Key Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting essential functions within the designated market, prioritizing low to moderate income neighborhoods and clientele.
  • Striving to achieve a favorable CRA rating in your assigned area.
  • Proactively networking with individuals, real estate professionals, builders, non-profit organizations, and community advocates to enhance relationships and drive sales.
  • Participating in outreach activities beyond the office, including homebuyer workshops, financial literacy events, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Implementing marketing strategies and promotional efforts, such as educational presentations and involvement in civic organizations to boost sales.
  • Collaborating with clients to complete comprehensive loan applications, ensuring compliance with all regulations while negotiating terms.
  • Gathering and analyzing data to assess eligibility for various loan products.
  • Serving as the primary contact for clients throughout the loan process, addressing inquiries and providing necessary information.
  • Coordinating closely with mortgage operations teams to facilitate smooth loan transactions.
  • Building a strong partnership with your processor to ensure an efficient loan processing experience.
  • Keeping the Regional Lending Sales Manager informed about all community engagement initiatives and strategies.
  • Working independently with minimal supervision, including evening and weekend hours as needed to meet client demands.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • High school diploma or GED; a college degree is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in outside sales, particularly in FHA, VA, and conventional lending.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in PC applications with a typing speed of at least 35 WPM.
  • Knowledge of basic underwriting principles is advantageous.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Exceptional sales and negotiation capabilities, with a confident approach.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
