Position Summary: Agile Defense is seeking experienced professionals to contribute to the Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) initiatives for the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) Nimitz Operational Intelligence Command (OIC). This role is pivotal in providing IT support services, which encompass tiered on-call assistance, strategic planning, user support, systems engineering, and technical evaluations.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our growth and success by driving innovation and implementing strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to comprehend and anticipate their requirements, translating them into actionable product specifications.
  • Oversee and assess the progress of product development throughout its lifecycle.
  • Act as a liaison between the product team and end-users, providing regular updates and insights.
  • Lead agile teams, articulating product vision, roadmap, and identifying growth opportunities while maintaining communication with stakeholders.
  • Prioritize and manage the product feature backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive product specifications and ensure clarity for development teams.
  • Define the strategic vision for future product enhancements.
  • Serve as the internal and external product ambassador, sharing expertise and addressing inquiries.
  • Evaluate product value, construct business cases, and prioritize initiatives to maximize alignment with product strategy.
  • Collaborate with management to maintain a product backlog that reflects business value and return on investment.
  • Assist in resolving obstacles that may hinder the successful completion of project goals.
  • Keep stakeholders informed about the status of ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Scrum project management methodologies.

Work Environment: This position is primarily office-based with minimal travel requirements. Flexibility in work hours is available to accommodate project needs.
