Position Overview:

We are in search of a proactive and skilled Permanent Billing Manager to enhance our finance team. This role is essential in managing billing operations, ensuring that all financial transactions are executed accurately, promptly, and in accordance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire billing department, from invoice generation to customer account management. This high-impact position necessitates a solid understanding of accounts receivable, reconciliation, electronic billing systems, and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and optimize billing and collections processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
2. Manage the preparation and distribution of invoices, ensuring precision and punctuality.
3. Lead the establishment and upkeep of billing systems that cater to both client and business needs.
4. Guarantee the accuracy and timely production of all billing and financial reports.
5. Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable, swiftly identifying and addressing discrepancies.
6. Collaborate with various departments to uphold best practices in billing.
7. Develop and enforce policies and procedures that enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.
8. Provide leadership and support to the billing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
9. Address complex and escalated customer billing concerns, ensuring effective and timely resolutions.
10. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant state and federal laws and regulations regarding billing and collections.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (preferred).
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a billing management role, ideally within the finance sector.
3. Expertise in accounts receivable, reconciliation, electronic billing systems, and contract management.
4. Strong knowledge of billing procedures, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
5. Exceptional leadership capabilities with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and capacity to handle intricate billing challenges.
7. High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
11. Strong understanding of customer relations and superior customer service skills.
